DR CLARA WONG

After completing her preclinical degree at Cambridge University, United Kingdom, Clara decided to return to the Asia Pacific region and completed her specialist training in Anaesthesiology. She has obtained fellowships in Pain Medicine in both Hong Kong and Australian colleges.

With more than a decade's experience in managing patients with pain, Clara is also an avid trainer and Examiner for the Board of Pain Medicine in Hong Kong. She is also the supervisor of Training for Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA).

Having relocated to Melbourne, Clara has worked as a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician at Barbara Walker Centre for Pain Management in St Vincent's Hospital. She is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University. Clara is also working as a Visiting Medical Officer (Anaesthetic) at Eastern Health, where she is experienced in managing patients with acute post-operative pain.

Clara is passionate about helping patients with pain and understands the impact chronic pain can have on an individual. She believes everyone has a different story behind their pain and each person deserves tailor-made management.

Clara is an interventional pain specialist and is dedicated to giving the most appropriate multidisciplinary care to her patients.
