Ivan is a specialist in Pain Medicine and Neuromodulation. He graduated from the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine, United Kingdom in 2011. Following academic training in Neuroscience at Imperial College London, he completed specialist clinical training in leading London pain-management centres including Charing Cross, Great Ormond Street and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals. He was awarded Fellowships from the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Faculty of Pain Medicine, United Kingdom. As a specialist who performs pain-relieving procedures at the highest level, he was accredited by the World Institute of Pain as a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice.

Ivan plays a major role in developing the field of Pain Medicine; he is a Faculty Tutor responsible for training the next generation of pain specialists. As an investigator in clinical trials of pain therapies, he applies the latest knowledge from research studies to best help his patients. He was awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Neuromodulation with distinction from the University of London.

Ivan has expertise in treating a range of pain conditions including nerve (neuropathic) pain, spinal pain, persistent pain after surgery, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), fibromyalgia, joint pain, headache, facial pain, abdominal / pelvic pain and other pain conditions. Minimally invasive procedures including nerve blocks, radiofrequency treatment, regenerative treatment such as platelet-rich-plasma (PRP) and implantable devices such as spinal cord stimulator (SCS) have been used successfully in providing sustained pain relief.

Ivan is committed to helping patients who suffer from any pain conditions. He understands pain not only affects every aspect of an individual’s life, but that their family and loved ones are affected too. Comprehensive assessment followed by an individualised treatment plan gives the best chance of alleviating pain and the suffering it causes.
